Fibroids that cause Anaemia

If you are reading this you probably have fibroids and are anaemic or you have fibroids and don’t know that the reason you have been experiencing abnormal fatigue and exhaustion, noticing pale skin, feeling weak, having shortness of breath, and having cold feet and hands is because you are anaemic.
This is brought about by the excessive bleeding from your symptomatic fibroids.
I remember before my last surgery in August 2019 I used to experience severe chills whether it was during the day when the sun is out bright or whether it was at night. I normally wear socks to sleep on a typical night yet I still used to feel the shivers of cold clench my entire body even after trying to keep warm. Let’s not talk about the shortness of breath I would experience every time I would talk, I used to think its possibly because I am overweight. Hmm very funny when I think about it now.
I later on found out through a blood test that my haemoglobin levels were below normal and that was because of my symptomatic fibroids.
If you have been experiencing the above symptoms, I would suggest that you see a gynaecologist for a blood test that would rule out or confirm whether you are anaemic.
Untreated Anaemia could result to potentially life-threatening complications such as congestive heart failure, arrhythmia, angina, and/or heart attack.
There are 2 specific types of fibroids that can cause anaemia:
1. Fibroids within the uterine lining (submucosal) can cause severe bleeding, even if they are small. These fibroids can increase the area of the lining, and also increase menstrual flow, while limiting the normal ability of the lining to stop the bleeding.
2.Fibroids within the uterine muscle (intramural) that are larger or close to the cavity and will increase blood flow to the uterus and affect the normal systems that control bleeding in the uterus. These fibroids will also increase the size of the cavity of the uterus, thereby increasing bleeding.
Well, people are normally considered anaemic when they have a lower than normal amount of red blood cells in their blood. To assess this, a routine blood test measures the haemoglobin and haematocrit levels. Haemoglobin is the iron-containing protein found in red blood cells that carries oxygen from the lungs to the rest of your body. Haematocrit is a measure of the proportion of red blood cells in a sample of blood.
Following my test results, my doctor prescribed some blood supplements called ‘Ranefron’ pictured above. This really helped boost my blood levels by increasing my iron.
I also through my own research discovered that there were natural ways to ingest iron that would in turn boost my blood levels.
I then added the below foods to my diet and I must say they really did help.
N.B. I will only mention foods that won’t bring about a hormonal imbalance even if they would increase your iron levels as that is the cause of fibroids. E.g. Red Meat and Eggs are great for boosting your iron that translates into more production of haemoglobin but they also cause hormonal imbalances.
Here is my list:
1. Sea food
2.Lentils
3. Cereal
4.Pumpkin Seeds
5.Soy Beans
6.Spinach
7.Sesame Seeds
